Good News!!! Ohio's Domestic Asset Protection Trust Statute (also referred to as the Ohio Legacy Trust Statute) was once again ranked in the top 5 of the national rankings (actually #4 in this most recently released rankings) as compiled and presented by attorney Steve Oshins. Ohio's DAPT statute has the shortest statute of limitations (18 months) of the 17 states which have enacted DAPT statutes. A copy of the state DAPT rankings is attached below for your review.

Dec. 4, 2017 (Columbus, Ohio). Attorney D. Bowen "Bo" Loeffler was once again a speaker at this year's Great Lakes Asset Protection Institute held at the Ohio State Bar Association headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. This year, Bo's topic with co-presenter, John E. Sullivan III, was "LLC Drafting Issues and Clauses." The headline speaker for the 2017 Institute was nationally renowned asset protection attorney, Daniel Rubin from New York City. A copy of the Institute's program brochure is attached.
